The Edelrid Micro Jul is a tiny stainless-steel passive assisted-braking device designed for thin ropes from 6.9–8.9mm. Originally created to pair with the groundbreaking 6.9mm Flycatcher rope, it features guide mode for belaying seconds and can also be used for rappelling. The assisted braking engages through device geometry — no moving parts.
