Edelrid Mega Jul
The Mega Jul is a passive assisted-braking device from Edelrid with a guide mode; it weighs 75 g and lowering is released by hand at the device, with no lever. Rated for single, half and twin ropes from 7.8 to 10 mm, with two rope slots. It rappels on one or two strands. In stock at 47 shops from 26.94 EUR.
Edelrid's stainless steel belay device and descender with assisted braking: the geometry increases the braking effect when a leader falls. It belays a leader, brings up one or two followers and rappels, on ropes of 7.8 to 10 mm. Rope is paid out faster through the thumb loop, and an eyelet unlocks the device with a carabiner in follower mode. 75 g; EN 15151-2. Edelrid's current manual and declaration of conformity name this version the Mega Jul II.
