Edelrid's assisted-braking belay device for single ropes of 8.9 to 11 mm, with a stainless steel body. Its geometry, taken from the Mega Jul, blocks the rope in a leader fall; rope is paid out faster by holding the device open with the thumb, and Edelrid describes the handling as suited to beginners and to thicker ropes. 105 g; EN 15151-2. Single rope only, no guide mode.
