Metolius BRD

The Metolius Belay/Rappel Device, CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and anodised, with engineered rope slots that increase friction for control, plus cooling fins and extra thermal mass to dissipate heat. Single or double rope, 8 to 11 mm. 82 g; meets the UIAA standard for rope braking devices; made in the USA.
