Mammut Nordwand Alpine Belay

A tube belay device with V-shaped grooves and rear rope-bearing surfaces in abrasion-resistant steel, which prevents wear and overheating; the housing is aluminium. In guide mode it belays one or two seconds from the belay station and locks automatically if one falls; a carabiner in the release hole acts as a lever to unlock it. For double, half and single ropes of 7.5 to 10.5 mm. 80 g; EN 15151-2:2012 and UIAA 129.
