DMM Pivot

A guide-plate belay device whose anchor loop pivots: when lowering a second in guide mode, the loop moves the point of leverage, so releasing the locked-off rope needs less force and the lower is easier to control. Two rope slots, for half and twin ropes of 7.3-9.2 mm or a single rope of 8.7-11 mm; 72 g; it can be flipped 180 degrees for smoother abseiling on thick or low-stretch ropes.
