The lace version of the Veloce takes Scarpa's gym-focused platform and adds real fit tunability. The offset lace pattern tracks the shoe's slight asymmetry, while the M50 rand wraps the forefoot for toe hooks you wouldn't expect from a comfort shoe. S72 rubber is the star - stickier than most performance compounds on plastic, though it pays for that grip with faster outdoor wear.
