Unparallel Regulus
Unparallel
Unparallel's stiffest downturned shoe, built for precision on all angles. The unlined synthetic upper provides a snug, secure fit without stretch. 4.2 mm RH rubber sole delivers exceptional edging on small footholds, while the extended toe rand rubber enhances toe-hooking friction. Highly tensioned heel with slingshot randing locks the foot in place for powerful heel hooks. A favourite among climbers transitioning from Five Ten Hiangles.
Best For
Best for bouldering and sport climbing on vertical, overhang and roof terrain. Aimed at intermediate to elite climbers.
Strengths & Trade-offs
Strengths
- Outstanding edging on small holds
- Extended toe rubber for strong toe hooks
- Tensioned heel locks foot securely
- Synthetic upper maintains shape over time
- Hooks pockets and edges on steep walls
Trade-offs
- Long break-in period
- Stiff rubber takes time to soften
- Single velcro strap can feel less adjustable
Sizing & Fit
Synthetic upper won't stretch. Size true-to-size or half size down from street shoe. Comparable to Five Ten Hiangle sizing.
Fit profile: narrow width, standard forefoot volume, narrow heel, suits greek toe shapes.
No stretch expected; moderate break-in.
