The aggressively downturned, asymmetric shape with leather-and-microfibre upper locks the foot into a powerful claw. Patented Draxtor velcro system provides one-motion closure with independent tension control across the shoe. Used by Megos for the first-ever 9a onsight.

Sizes roughly like a La Sportiva performance shoe; community reports 1-2 sizes down from street for a performance fit. Leather-and-microfibre upper stretches slightly. (Tenaya publishes sizes in UK half-sizes; the '1/3 EU increment' idea is a retailer-conversion artifact.)
Fit profile: medium width, standard forefoot volume, narrow heel, suits egyptian toe shapes.
Minimal stretch expected; minimal break-in; manufacturer suggests downsizing 0.5-2 EU from street size.
