Sizing & Fit
Standard Mad Rock sizing: performance = measured size, snug + 0.5, comfort + 1. Mad Rock sizes close to US street size. Despite the shared name, the Remora Pro is not a sizing exception - only the Remora slipper is. Mad Rock notes it feels tight and aggressive when new but breaks in quickly. LV version for narrow feet and low insteps.
Fit profile: narrow width, low forefoot volume, narrow heel, suits egyptian, greek and roman toe shapes.
Expect roughly half a size of stretch; minimal break-in.
Stiffness
Measured stiffness: 0.37 on our 0-1 scale (0 = softest). Among aggressive shoes it sits between the La Sportiva Skwama (0.33, softer) and the La Sportiva Solution (0.43, stiffer).
