Sizing & Fit

Size up half a size. The Drone CS is one of only two Mad Rock models with a sizing exception: every fit tier sits half a size above the rest of the line (performance = measured size + 0.5, snug + 1, comfort + 1.5). Mad Rock sizes close to US street size, so a performance fit is about street + 0.5, and about half a size up from a Drone 2. Minimal stretch. LV version for narrow feet and low insteps.

Fit profile: narrow width, low forefoot volume, narrow heel, suits egyptian, greek and roman toe shapes.

Minimal stretch expected; moderate break-in.

Stiffness

Measured stiffness: 0.58 on our 0-1 scale (0 = softest). Among aggressive shoes it sits between the Tenaya Iati (0.48, softer) and the Unparallel TN Pro LV (0.65, stiffer).
