The newest member of La Sportiva's No-Edge family, designed for modern boulderers. The Mandala maximises toe-hooking area with an oversized rubber toe patch and ultra-grippy Vibram XS Grip2 at 3 mm. P3 system maintains aggressive downturn. Velcro closure for fast on/off at the boulder. Minimal thickness between foot and rock delivers outstanding sensitivity.

Typically 1.5-2.5 EU sizes down from street shoe. Reviewer example: street EU 42.5 wore Mandala EU 40 (2.5 down). La Sportiva golden rule: go down at least 2 sizes for performance. Leather upper stretches during break-in - size snug, it will adapt.
Fit profile: medium width, standard forefoot volume, narrow heel, suits egyptian toe shapes.
No stretch expected; minimal break-in.
Stiffness
Measured stiffness: 0.48 on our 0-1 scale (0 = softest). Among aggressive shoes it sits between the Tenaya Mastia (0.40, softer) and the Scarpa Boostic (0.53, stiffer).
