Evolv Geshido Lace
Evolv

The Geshido Lace is a firm, moderately downturned lace shoe from Evolv for sport climbing and bouldering. Evolv lists it as medium-width with a medium heel. In stock at 4 shops from 50.53 EUR.
Lace-up version of the Geshido on a leather upper. The same full-length 1.2mm plastic midsole and 4.2mm TRAX SAS outsole as the strap Geshido give a stiff platform for edging on small features, and the laces tune the fit across the instep. Built for vertical to moderately overhanging terrain over long sessions. Out of stock at Evolv, still listed by several retailers.

Best for sport climbing and bouldering. Aimed at intermediate to advanced climbers.
Among the 469 adult climbing shoes we track, the Geshido Lace ranks in the top 6% for edging, the top 8% for support and the top 12% for crack climbing.

How the Geshido Lace fits
Performance fit on the Geshido last. Wear it close to your street size; the leather upper needs a few sessions to break in and moulds to the foot rather than stretching a full size. Evolv advises street size for maximum performance, half to one size up for longer sessions and one to one and a half up for comfort.
Fit profile: medium width, standard forefoot volume, medium heel, suits egyptian toe shapes.
Minimal stretch expected; moderate break-in.
