Boreal Dharma Women's

Boreal

The women's (low-volume) version of the Boreal Dharma, an aggressively downturned bouldering and steep-sport shoe on a lower-volume women's last. Same strong asymmetry, full toe and heel rubber and sticky Zenith Pro rubber for hooking and steep terrain.

Best For

Best for bouldering and sport climbing on vertical, overhang and roof terrain. Aimed at intermediate to advanced climbers.

Strengths & Trade-offs

Strengths

  • Sharply downturned for hooking and steep terrain
  • Sticky compound gets purchase on polished granite
  • Thin-feeling platform for maximum ground contact
  • Resoleable construction for long-term value

Trade-offs

  • Steep downturn causes foot fatigue on longer routes
  • Loose feel for narrow-footed climbers
  • Thin midsole means feet tire faster on edgy routes

Sizing & Fit

Women's last (lower volume, narrower heel) than the standard Dharma. Velcro performance fit; size per the standard model. Wider/higher-volume feet should use the standard Dharma.

Fit profile: medium width, low forefoot volume, narrow heel, suits egyptian toe shapes.

Minimal stretch expected; minimal break-in.

Stiffness

Measured stiffness: 0.40 on our 0-1 scale (0 = softest). Among aggressive shoes it sits between the La Sportiva Solution Comp (0.34, softer) and the Tenaya Iati (0.48, stiffer).
