Boreal
The recycled-material version of Boreal's Beta, an indoor-oriented beginner and training shoe. Built with recycled components wherever possible, it keeps the regular Beta's breathable synthetic upper, slight downturn, full-length midsole and soft Zenith Quattro rubber for comfort and easy performance on gym walls and easier rock.

Best for sport climbing and bouldering on slab and vertical terrain. Aimed at beginner to intermediate climbers.

Comfortable beginner/training fit; breathable synthetic upper that does not stretch. Size close to street size for comfort. Identical fit to the regular Beta 2.0 in a recycled package.
Fit profile: medium width, standard forefoot volume, narrow heel, suits egyptian toe shapes.
No stretch expected; minimal break-in.
Stiffness
Measured stiffness: 0.57 on our 0-1 scale (0 = softest). Among slightly downturned shoes it sits between the Scarpa Vapor V (0.55, softer) and the La Sportiva Finale (0.65, stiffer).
