Black Diamond

A mid-height, stiff crack and alpine shoe for long days on slab and vertical granite. A full-length stiff midsole, BlackLabel Fuse edging rubber, an activated slingshot rand and a slightly downturned forefoot give support and precision on small edges, while extra toe-box rubber and a mid-cut cuff protect the foot in cracks, offwidths and chimneys. Ecco DriTan leather upper with a breathable mesh tongue.

Best For

Best for trad multipitch on slab and vertical terrain. Aimed at intermediate to advanced climbers.

Fit profile: medium width, standard forefoot volume, medium heel, suits egyptian toe shapes.

Expect roughly half a size of stretch; moderate break-in.
