Andrea Boldrini Pantera Light

Andrea Boldrini

A light, stripped-down microfiber slipper for bouldering, built on Andrea Boldrini's more aggressive PG+ last with a moderate downturn for precision and toe power on overhangs. A 4.5 mm Formula Enduro half-sole and moderate flex keep it sensitive and wrapping, while the unlined microfiber upper makes it fully vegan and resoleable. Handmade in France.

Best For

Best for bouldering and sport climbing on vertical and overhang terrain. Aimed at intermediate to advanced climbers.

Strengths & Trade-offs

Strengths

  • Light, sensitive microfiber slipper that wraps the foot closely
  • Moderate downturn plus a toe patch for precision and toe power on overhangs
  • Fully vegan (unlined microfiber) and resoleable
  • Non-stretch microfiber holds its size over time

Trade-offs

  • Slip-on with no strap or lace offers little fit adjustment
  • Half-sole and soft-to-moderate flex give limited support for long routes and hard edging
  • Niche, made-to-order availability

Sizing & Fit

Slip-on (elastic) fit. Non-stretch microfiber, so it stays true to the size you pick; can be taken at street size for comfort or down for performance. Sizes EU 32-47 (half sizes from 34). Handmade in France.

Fit profile: medium width, standard forefoot volume, medium heel, suits egyptian toe shapes.

Minimal stretch expected; minimal break-in.

Stiffness

Measured stiffness: 0.52 on our 0-1 scale (0 = softest). Among moderately downturned shoes it sits between the Boreal Crux (0.48, softer) and the La Sportiva Miura VS (0.56, stiffer).
